Get Support for the Long Haul
Boyd Truck Centers offer warranties for every item we sell, including Western Star Trucks, trailers, Thomas Built Buses and bus and truck parts.
Manufacturer warranties cover all our new vehicles and we make extended service coverage options available for customers who prefer the peace of mind that comes with a longer warranty period.
Our overall warranty goal is simple: to lower your total cost of ownership through best-in-class protection backed by exceptional customer service.
Warranty Basics
Western Star Trucks
Warranties on new Western Star trucks can cover the entire vehicle or individual components. Options include basic vehicle, towing, cab corrosion, cab structure, chassis paint, chassis corrosion, crossmembers and frame rails.
Plans range from six months and unlimited miles up to six years and 750,000 miles.
Truck Master
CPO90 limited warranty plans from Truck Master include coverage for the engine as well as towing expansion. Optional coverage is available for the transmission, rear axle and other components.
Boyd Truck Centers also offer Truck Master Plus warranties, available with 24-hour roadside assistance.
Thomas Built Buses
New buses come with limited warranties covering defects in material and workmanship. Warranty repairs are provided free of charge within the coverage period.
Boyd warranty specialists work directly with manufacturers and component suppliers to ensure every step of the warranty repairs process is seamless.
Truck & Bus Parts
Boyd provides limited warranty protection for all aftermarket parts sold directly through our parts department.
Coverage for defective material and/or workmanship typically extends for a minimum of 12 months.
Extended Service Coverage
If you want to go beyond the base manufacturer warranty and basic vehicle coverage, Boyd Truck Centers offer extended service coverage options. Available plans vary from vehicle to vehicle and even component to component, but your sales rep can help you find the right fit for your fleet.
Western Star Trucks
Choose from four different Truck Coverage (TC) packages, including the TC4 option, which covers the most factory-installed components and includes Detroit Assurance Extended Service Coverage.
Detroit Engines
The EW4 extended warranty covers almost every part of the engine, except for accessories, maintenance seals and replacement of components due to wear.
Thomas Built Buses
We offer extended service coverage options to complement or enhance service covered by the manufacturer warranty.
